Prepare for road closures in Lake Stevens area

Work began on the 36th Street NE road embankment repair on Aug 20. The work is scheduled to be completed by mid September.
During this time the City will pave the overlay of 131st Avenue NE between 20th Street NE and Hartford Road.
Pending the weather the work is scheduled to be completed August 29 and 3. During this time 131st Avenue NE will be closed to through traffic for two days.
For emergency vehicles, 36th At. Ne will be completely closed with no through access during the entire construction period. 131st Ave will allow for emergency vehicle and local resident passage.
