The Vikings ran their way to a 48-12 lead over the Stanwood Spartans at Friday night’s Homecoming game.
Austin Otis ran for 98 yards for a touchdown helping the Vikes secure their Homecoming win, even in the pouring rain.
Stanwood couldn’t score against the Lake Stevens at all during the second half of the game, scoring one touchdown in each of the first two quarters.
Lake led the scoreboard at half-time 20-12 and came out in the third to score 28 more points.
Halftime consisted of the Lake Stevens Band entertaining the crowd as cheerleaders danced.
Homecoming Royalty was introduced to a Shrek theme and even in the cold the newly crowned court looked stunning.
The annual ‘Senior Run’ ended the halftime entertainment as members of the senior class tore down the track, stolen chicken in tow.
