Kids in Sierra Leone playing soccer.

On Monday, Dec. 10 young soccer players from Lake Stevens and all over Snohomish County gathered at the Snohomish Sports Institute to participate in Team Time which consists of training and learning about Sierra Leone.
The plan is to bring hope to the kids in Sierra Leone by collecting soccer jerseys, shorts, and socks and beginning a youth soccer program in the small country in West Africa.

Local soccer players will be participating in The Winter Break Indoor Tournament in Snohomish and will spread the word to other teams which will help collect the jersey kits.
Along with the kits each player will also write a personal note of encouragement and will gather in prayer to lift up the children in Sierra Leone.
