Around midnight on Saturday, December 29, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a male harassing the residents at the 1700 block of 155th Ave. SE in Snohomish.

The suspect, a 33-year-old male, fled when deputies arrived and a short pursuit ensued.  Pursuit was terminated a few minutes later, but the suspect continued traveling at high rates of speed, crashing into a ravine at the intersection of 20th St. SE and SR 9 near Lake Stevens.

He was removed from the vehicle and, after medical evaluation, had no serious injuries.
Investigators at the residence in Snohomish learned that the suspect, who had a no contact order with the residents, had “keyed” one of the vehicles and smashed out a back window.

The suspect was arrested for attempting to elude police, residential burglary, driving with a suspended license, ignition interlock violation, third degree malicious mischief and reckless driving and was booked into the Snohomish County jail.
