New time and location for L.S. Book Group

Starting on Monday, January 14 the Lake Stevens Book Group will meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Adriatica Restaurant located at 1915 Main St. in downtown Lake Stevens.
The book selection for January is “The Postmistress” by Sarah Blake: “In London covering the Blitz with Edward R. Murrow, Frankie Bard meets a Cape Cod doctor in a shelter and promises that she’ll deliver a letter for him when she finally returns to the United States. Filled with stunning parallels to today’s world, “The Postmistress” is a sweeping novel about the loss of innocence of two extraordinary women—and of two countries torn apart by war.”
You can check the book out from the Lake Stevens Library; just tell them it is reserved for you and is on their back shelf.
