Miss Aquafest Royalty receives President’s Award

The 2012 Miss Aquafest Royalty.
In January, the 2012 Miss Aquafest Royalty received the President’s Award for their dedication to community service. For several of the recipients, this was their third year to be honored.
The Miss Aquafest Royalty participates in Snohomish County throughout the year including seven parades and festivals, fundraising and awareness events such as Relay for Life and the March of Dimes Walk, and Lake Stevens events like Night Out Against Crime and the Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony each December.
The 2013 Miss Aquafest Royalty will be selected during the Miss Aquafest Pageant on June 1-2 and young women ages 5-18 are encouraged to participate. Workshops begin in April and details can be found at aquafest.org.
