Lake Stevens High School Drama Booster Club is hosting a Farmhouse Breakfast-for-Dinner Theater and silent auction fundraiser to benefit the LSHS Drama Club on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 5 p.m. in the LSHS Cafeteria.
Tickets include a hearty farmhouse-style breakfast-for-dinner and admission to LSHS’ knee-slapping spring musical “Calamity Jane”, directed by teacher Carrie Gerrard; music written by Paul Francis Webster; adapted by Ron Hanmer and Phil Park.
“It’s our biggest LSHS Drama Booster Club fundraiser of the year,” said LSHS teacher and show director Carrie Gerrard. “Proceeds from the dinner theater go towards the purchase of costumes, props and other essential items to our drama program.”
Dinner theater tickets are $25 for adults and $12.50 for children 12 and under and include dinner and admission to the show.
Choose either the matinee performance of “Calamity Jane” at 2:30 p.m. and enjoy your dinner at 5 p.m., or dine at 5 p.m. and watch the evening show at 6:30 p.m..

An adaptation of the popular 1953 movie/musical featuring Doris Day, “Calamity Jane” is loosely based on the real-life story of frontier woman Martha Jane Canary. This musical comedy is sure to entertain the entire family. Senior, Lauren Senechal plays Calamity Jane; sophomore, Jake Tucker is Wild Bill Hickock; sophomore, Kiana Murkerson plays Katie Brown and senior, Kevin Loth is Lt. Danny Gilmartin.
Calamity Jane runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, April 18, 19 and 20 and 25, 26 and 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the LSHS PAC Auditorium with one matinee performance on Saturday, April 20 at 2:30. Tickets for the show only are $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors and students with ASB and $5 for children 12 and under.
