Get that purple out and start decorating your homes and businesses to celebrate the up and coming Relay for Life of Lake Stevens.
The city will be Painting the Town Purple this Saturday, April 13 as a precursor to the annual Relay for Life of Lake Stevens which will be held on May 10-11 at Lake Stevens High School.
As part of Paint the Town Purple local Relay teams will be at North Cove Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with booths where they will be selling everything from baked goods, to raffle tickets for baskets to face painting and several products such as Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Michi bags and more!
You will even be able to kick a soccer ball and see how fast you can make it go!
There will also be a pancake breakfast at the Mitchell Community Center (next to City Hall) which will start at 7 a.m.
Proceeds from these arts and crafts booths and the pancake breakfast will go towards fighting cancer through Relay for Life.
If you would like to join in the fun of decorating your home or business and would like to be judged for a prize and a photo of your beautiful decorations in the Lake Stevens Journal, please email a photo to email@example.com.
Join in the fun on Saturday, April 13 and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast, a stroll in the park while watching the Lake Stevens Rowing Club’s Regatta and fun booths to help fight cancer in Snohomish County.
