Joshua Osburn, age 13 from Lake Stevens, was nominated to represent his school, Lake Stevens Middle School, and our area at the Jr. National Young Leaders Conference (JRNYLC) this year.
He will be attending this conference in Washington D.C. this June 23-June 28.
Among Osburn’s academic achievements are multiple school awards for citizenship, scholarship, workmanship, leadership and attendance. Not to mention a President’s award for academic excellence.
His extracurricular activities include church youth group and other outreach programs.
Osburn always takes the opportunity to better himself and his education by attending afterschool education enhancement classes (i.e. math camp). He is a born leader who loves to learn new things and share them with others. Osburn’s desire is to one day be a teacher.
