Lake Stevens resident wins $5,000 in appliances from PartSelect.com

Kyra Shelton, 10, is raising money for Relay for Life of Lake Stevens.

Old Dog Haven operates out of Lake Stevens but they help senior dogs throughout the state by finding loving permanent homes. The organization consists of a group of private foster homes caring for the animals and a network that finds homes where dogs over the age of eight can spend the rest of their lives.

Miss Aquafest is holding the second of four workshops on Sunday, April 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Lake Stevens Community Center located at 1808 Main Street in Lake Stevens.
