Viking boys basketball beat Everett 78-55
Lake Stevens boys closed out the first half of their Wesco North season at 8-0 (9-3 overall) with a 78-55 win at Everett last Thursday (because of early deadline Lake’s game vs. Arlington on Friday will be reported on in next week’s Journal).

Vikings win at Arlington, Stanwood
Lake Stevens took a big step towards defending its Wesco North title with a pair of key road wins last week, winning at Arlington 68-56 on Dec. 8 and at Stanwood 64-55 on Dec. 11. The wins gave Lake a 2-0 league mark, 3-0 overall.
