The Lake Stevens High School Girls
Soccer team had their first game on Tuesday Sept. 8 against Marysville-Pilchuck
High School where the Vikings led 2 to 0 (both scored by Sandra Osborne) through
the first half and into the 30th minute of the second half.
Marysville-Pilchuck scored two goals
and the game went into overtime where the Tomahawks scored in the 89th minute
to win.
On Thursday, Sept. 10 the Vikings
played in Oak Harbor.
Kaleen Berg started off the scoring in
this game and Kinslee Isaman
scored two goals with an assist while she received her assists from Ashley
Saracino and Annie Thomas.
Ciara Carter, a freshman, scored a goal and assisted in Lindsay Licht’s goal. Sierra Hobday (out with injury in first game) played keeper and held it to a shut out for Oak Harbor.
Only a few days later, the Vikings
faced Cascade at home.
Annie Thomas scored the first goal to
get the Vikings on the board and Kinslee Isaman scored the second goal to
cement the game in the second.
Sierra Hobday played keeper again and had another shut out.
