Alexandra Chalk, a resident of Lake Stevens has earned placement on the Gonzaga University Dean’s List for spring semester 2011. Students must earn a 3.5 to 3.69 grade-point average to be listed.
Jennifer Cataldi and Krista Van Dyke have both earned placement on Gonzaga University’s President’s List. Students must earn a 3.70 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed. Both girls are from Lake Stevens.
Jonathan Wilbourne graduated from Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He was also placed on the Dean’s list for spring semester. To qualify students must have a 3.7 GPA or higher.

Western Washington University student Leah Ashley Ray, daughter of Ronay and Tasha Gibson of Lake Stevens, received a $1,000 Marian Stroebel Cooper Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year.

Navy Seaman Recruit M. Bales, daughter of Laura M. Blegen of Stanwood, Wash. and Michael W. Bales, of Lake Stevens, Wash., recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.
Bales is a 2009 graduate of Stanwood High School of Stanwood, Wash.
