WOW! That’s exactly what came to mind as I watch the STOMP dancers at The Paramount Theatre.
The six men and two women cast showed incredible talent, not only in their dance performances but in the way they connected and interacted with the audience without ever saying a word.
What amazed me was their strength and endurance during their hour and half, non-stop performance.
The choreography showed creativity and flair. I’ve never been so excited to see what a dancer would come up with next.
Their use of everyday items in their performances showed a depth of creativity. One wonders how they came up with their ideas.
Creating music with inner tubes, cigarette lighters, plastic bags and even the kitchen sink (literally), and of course garbage cans, were just a few of the eye-popping props used to bring the audience into each and every routine.
This performance is definitely worth the trip to Seattle, even in the dark. And of course, the beauty of the Paramount Theatre adds to the feel of the entire event.
Tickets are still on sale and performances run through Sunday.
