SEATTLE, WA - The holidays may be over, but there's still time for families to bundle up and go waltzing in a winter wonderland, as Pacific Northwest Ballet presents its ninth annual Winter Wonderland Ball, an all-ages gala to benefit Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Attendees will enjoy delectable food and drinks; fun dance classes; and a fantastic silent auction with a myriad of offerings, including a month of unlimited bar fitness classes from Bar Method (voted "Best Fitness Club" by Seattle Magazine), a deluxe overnight package at Hotel 1000, a stunning painting of Mikhael Baryshnikov by noted artist Daniella Foletto, and many other cool packages. Back by popular demand at this year's Winter Wonderland Ball is the Coppélia-themed cake walk, which will feature music and characters from the ballet, as well as fabulous and delicious prizes. Hosted by PNB principal dancer Kaori Nakamura and her daughter, Maya, this year's Winter Wonderland Ball guests will also have the opportunity to mingle with PNB Company dancers.
The ninth annual Winter Wonderland Ball takes place Sunday, January 29 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at PNB School's beautifully decorated Francia Russell Center, 13440 NE 16th Street in Bellevue. Tickets are $65 for adults, $45 for the first child (12 and under), and $35 for each additional child. (Children must be accompanied by an adult.)
