Lake Stevens’ Lauren Moran holds four records at Concordia

Moran is from Lake Stevens and attended Archbishop Murphy High School



Local Lauren Moran attended Archbishop Murphy and was heavily involved in all things sports.
Moran splipt her athletic time on the cross country, basketball and track teams all four years, becoming the  MVP of the cross country team each year she participated and track team MVP for the first three years.

Moran went on to accomplish many other athletic honors including  holding seven school records, all conference cross country honors as a sophmore, junior and senior, all conference track honors as a sophmore and junior and was the team captian her senior year.

Moran also won the Outstanding Female Athlete award and the Don McClure award.
Currenty, Moran is attending Concordia University where she once again exhaled, this time in the 3000 meter steeple chase.

Moran holds the record with 10:45:06, breaking her previous year’s record at the Cascade Collegiate Conference in May of 2010. 

Moran is also the NAIA All American in the steeple chase and as a part of the distance medley relay team where they hold the Concordia University record in the mile at a little over five minutes. 
Moran continues to wow audiences with her athletic ability and her strong Determination.
