Storm Aquatics’ second annual spring intra-squad meet

On Friday, March 4 Storm Aquatics, Lake Stevens’ only USA swimming club team hosted their second annual spring intra-squad meet at the Lake Stevens High School Pool.
Forty-two Storm swimmers competed in this meet and achieved 68 percent best times.
Thirteen swimmers achieved 100 percent best times: Jonathan F., Riley G., Alyssa H., Rylee J., Holly K., Jade L, Kurt L, Sunielove M., Becca R., Anna S., Cameron S., Kristina S., and McKenna W.
The biggest drop of the meet was by Anna S., who dropped 45.53 seconds in her 100 Butterfly. Paige T. swam in her first meet. Two swimmers qualified for additional events at the Age Group Regional meet, Alyssa H. in the 100 I.M. and McKenna W. in the 100 Breaststroke. Alyssa H. also broke the Storm Aquatics 11-12 year old girls 100 I.M. record with a time of 1:07.64.
