The Seattle Junior Admirals hockey team returned from New York after competing in the national hockey tournament.
Lake Stevens own Jordan Levens, Duncan Long, Garrett VanWyhe and Bennie Cole are just four of the 13 and 14 boys on the team, which includes boys from Granite Falls to Olympia.
“It was an awesome experience. Our boys played with determination and pride,” Mar Levens said.
The Admirals won their first game against Woonsocket, Rhode Island 13-1. They won the second game against Arizona 7-2.
In the third game they lost to North Dakota 2-5 and entered the quarter finals with two wins and one loss.
They ended up losing to Indianapolis 2-4. Indianapolis went on to win the National title against North Dakota.
