The Lake Stevens Little League Tigers claimed the championship in the Stilly Valley Little League First Annual Murel Coulter Tournament in Arlington. 

The 14-team double elimination tournament, which ran from June 3 to 14 is named in honor of Mr. Coulter who has served as an umpire for Stilly Valley for 50 years. 

The Tigers beat the Marysville Bandits 13-1 for the title.
