Ashley Saracino has been playing soccer for the Everett-based Washington Rush Soccer Club U18 Girls team and she along with 11 of her teammates signed Letters of Intent to play soccer for Division 1, 2 and 3 colleges, including conferences from the Pac 12, Big-10, WCC and GNAC.
The girls sat together on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at the North County Youth Soccer Association Office in Everett as they each signed their individual letters.
The Washington Rush girls soccer team has an overall record of 22-2-2 for the 2011-12 season. Many of the team members have been playing together since they were 10 years old.
The Rush girls have won eight straight tournaments including: Pleasanton Rage College Showcase, Portland Winter Showcase, Las Vegas Encore Showcase, Utah Avalanche Invitational, US, Club Regionals, Crossfire Challenge, US Club Nationals and the San Diego Surf Cup. Individual accomplishments include All State First Team, All Area First Team, Wesco Conference First Team, Cascade Conference First Team, 2011 Seattle Times All-Area Team, Everett Herald All-Area Team.
