The Lake Volleyball Club U16 Red team hosted Flight 4 of Puget Sound Region Power League on March 3 at their training facility on Old Hartford Road.

The U16 Red started the day strong, winning their morning pool play.  Their success continued into afternoon bracket play, resulting in a first place finish.

The win moves the team up to Flight 3 for the next Power League on April 14.

In addition to hosting the Power League, Lake VBC was also the site of a bake sale benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Cassidy Schwindt, younger sister of Lake athlete, Brittany, is a model in the upcoming American Girl Fashion Show, which took place at the Bellevue Hilton March 17-18.

As part of their participation, each model is challenged to individually raise money for the hospital.  Cassidy’s bake sale raised $114.75, with 100 percent going to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
